The Christian Coleman Group at NOMA

Drummer Christian Coleman (of Queens NYC) has been a staple in the New York City jazz scene for the better part of two decades sharing the stage with modern artists Donny McCaslin, Benito Gonzalez, Ben Monder and Stacy Dillard, as well as living legends Billy Drewes, Ralph Lalama and Paul Bollenbeck. A Seward Nebraska native, Coleman recieved an offer on Carnival Cruise lines straight out of highschool, then thrusting himself into the working musician world where he has been ever since. The Christian Coleman Group, which is comprised of Omaha-born musicians, Broc Hempel, Andrew Bailie and Jonah Bennett, is presenting new, original material from the drummer’s catalogue this December.
