Support KVNO with an IRA Gift
Your IRA Can Make a Difference at KVNO
If you’re 70½ or older, you may be eligible to support KVNO directly from your IRA through a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD)—sometimes called an IRA charitable rollover.
In general, a QCD is a direct transfer from your IRA to a qualified charity. For some individuals, this type of gift may also count toward their Required Minimum Distribution (RMD) if they are 73 or older. Many supporters appreciate this option because it can be a straightforward way to give without increasing taxable income, depending on their personal circumstances.
Potential Advantages of Giving Through a QCD
-
May offer tax-related benefits: For some individuals, a QCD can help reduce taxable income, even without itemizing deductions.
-
May satisfy an RMD: If you are required to take a distribution, a QCD may be applied toward that requirement.
-
Simple process: Your IRA administrator can send your gift directly to KVNO.
