The collaboration with the Omaha Conservatory of Music continues after its success in October 2022 with the performance of Mozart’s Requiem. “The Conservatory cherishes opportunities like this collaboration with Résonance, where our highest-level students perform with professionals and learn important musical skills through an inspirational concert experience,” says Ruth Meints, Omaha Conservatory of Music Artistic Director.
This concert is a perfect celebration of music ages young and old, involving members of a community band and local school age musicians.
The entire team will be custom tailoring a 2-day retreat for UNO's students, with workshops covering a variety of topics.
Enjoy works by a multitude of composers who wrote in the nocturne genre, including Field, Abelardo, Poulenc, Palmgren, Britten, Chopin, Fauré, Respighi, Grieg, Liebermann, C. Schumann, and others.
