About the Exhibit
After viewing one of his photographs, a friend of Patrick’s once said to him, “I love seeing the world through your eyes.” In this exhibit, Patrick seeks to share with us the beauty of nature, as he sees it, through photography. Most of his photos are up close and personal, revealing intimate detail. While some are from faraway places, most of them are from the Lincoln and Omaha areas, including several from Omaha’s Lauritzen Gardens.
About the Artist
Patrick Grewe is a nature and wildlife photographer living in Lincoln, Nebraska. He grew up on a Nebraska farm where he came to love nature and the outdoors. He learned photography at an early age from his father. After retiring from a career in law and trust administration, Patrick now spends most of his days exploring the natural world and sharing its beauty with us through photography.
Lauritzen Gardens proudly provides a platform for local artists, showcasing botanical artwork inspired by our collections and celebrating the connection between art, nature, and our community.
